Preventative Care |
We offer preventive care for all stages of your pet's life, from pediatric to geriatric and all ages in between. Puppies and kittens need a series of vaccines to protect them from life threatening viruses and diseases including distemper and influenza. Young patients are given a dewormer to rid their systems of any intestinal parasites they may have come in contact with. We also begin monthly heartworm preventative and monthly flea and tick treatments. For our older patients we offer blood profiles to monitor organ function and complete blood counts, medications to help with arthritis and other old age related problems, and prescription diets to help support good health. Prescription pet foods offer some of the same benefits that can be achieved by using medications. Hill's Prescription Diet, Purina, and Royal Canin are just a few brands that we carry. Special formulas provide support for the treatment of kidney, liver, and urinary diseases. Diets geared towards diabetes management and weight loss are also available. |
